浅析中美家庭教育观的差异-以《家有儿女》和《摩登家庭》为例

要：家庭教育是指父母对孩子采取的教育方式，会对孩子的成长和发展所产生影响。它是整个学校教育和社会教育的基础，同时它对塑造孩子的价值观、世界观起着关键作用。本文以《家有儿女》和《摩登家庭》为例探索中美家庭教育观的差异，为中国家庭教育提供借鉴。

一、引言
在历史长河的积淀中，每一种文化都衍生出其带有民族特色的家庭价值观。由于思想观念的基础以及文化传统的迥异，中美家庭文化蕴含着不同的价值观，具有各自鲜明的特征。《家有儿女》是中国大陆的一部关于少儿题材的情景喜剧，采用重组家庭作为故事展开的平台。夏东海离婚后带着7岁的儿子夏雨、女儿夏雪，后与刘梅结婚。刘梅也曾离异，并带有一子叫刘星。《摩登家庭》是美国
2009年开始上映的情景喜剧片以父亲老夫少妻式的重组家庭（Gloria和Jay）、女儿家（Clair,Phil）,儿子的同性恋家庭（Mitchell和Camron）三个家庭为故事背景，内容涉及到情感、家庭教育、人际关系、文化冲突等，情节生动真实，语言诙谐幽默，展示了美国的原生态生活方式。本文试图以中国家庭情景剧-《家有儿女》和美剧《摩登家庭》为例来探索中美家庭教育观的差异并剖析其原因，以期通过借鉴国外先进的教育方法更好地促进我国的孩子健康快乐地成长，提高孩子的综合素质，同时也更好地促进两国社会文化交流。
Introduction
Overthelonghistoryofhumandevelopment,eachcivilizationderivescertainfamilyeducationconceptswithnationalfeatures.Basedonsharpdifferentideologyandculturaltradition,ChineseandAmericanfamilyculturebeardifferentvalueswithdistinctfeatures.HomewithkidsisasituationcomedyonChildrendevelopmentinChinesemainlandonthebasisofreconstructedfamily.ThegrasswidowerXiadonghai,whohastwochildrennamedXiayu,Xiaxue,remarriesanothergrasswidowLiumei,whohasonlyonechildLiuxing.WhilemodernfamilyisanAmericansituationcomedywiththerefamiliesasbackground-fatherJayandstepmotherGloria，daughterClairandherhusbandPhilandsonMitchellandhishomosexualboyfriendCamron,coveringemotions,familyeducation,interpersonalrelationship,andculturalconflicts.ThecomedypresentsusthegenuineAmericanlifestyles.Inthispaper,TVseriesHomewithKidsandModernFamilyarecited,toexplorethedifferencesoffamilyeducationconceptsbetweenChinaandAmerica,expectingitcanworkasareferenceforChinesefamilyeducationaswellaspromotethesocialandculturalexchangesbetweenChinaandAmerica.
二、中美家庭教育观的差异
1、教育方式的差异
中国长期受儒家思想的影响，父母在家庭中具有绝对的权威，在《家有儿女》中，中国家庭的教育方式表现在：孩子在家庭生活中处于被动地位，父母对孩子的要求听从安排。从一进门父母就开始唠叨，即使孩子关了门去学习，他们还在紧闭的门前喋喋不休。剧中妈妈刘梅就是这样一位颇有点神经质的家长。父母往往以权威姿态出现，与孩子的距离较远，且经常打骂孩子，正如刘星所说，“中国打骂孩子正常，而在美国这属于犯法的。

而美国家庭教育方式讲究“孩子本位”，父母尊重孩子的人格和人权，把孩子当做是一个独立的和平等的家庭成员相待，与孩子建立民主平等的关系。在《摩登家庭》中，孙女儿Alex与其祖母Gloria的交谈中，Gloria将自己的感情经历如实相告，就像朋友之间的倾吐。正如剧中
Luke对其父亲Phil说“Wearefriends”，(我们是哥们儿)。当孩子犯错时，家长以平等的态度与孩子进行沟通、交流，对孩子合理的想法和行为给予充分肯定，对其错误的想法和行为会给予批评指正。当Manny想退出准备已经的比赛时，妈妈并没有当即批评并指责他，而是循循诱导，最终成功劝说Manny参加比赛。

2教育内容的差异：
中国家庭教育内容侧重的是语言和逻辑能力的培养，即在家庭教育中以知识为本
位。我国家庭教育中的家长对子女进行的文化知识教育实际上只局限在分数教育层面，我们可以将其定为
“功利性知识”，而进行的艺术教育在很大层面上只是作为知识不足的补偿，并未真正起到教育的目的。在《家有儿女》中，一次家长会结束后，刘星的妈妈刘梅迫不及待地询问夏东海关于老师对刘星的看法，东海借口给姥姥拿药回避了这个问题；即便如此，刘梅还是不断追问。我们从中可以看出中国家长对孩子在校表现的重视度。

evaluationtoLiuxing,andshewantstogetanswersfromXiadonghai,whoattendtheparents’meeting.Xiaknowsthatifliugetstothetruth,Liuxingwillfallintotrouble.Sohewiselyavoidsrespondingtoher.Fromjustthisplot,weseeclearlyhowperformancematterstoparents.
美国家庭教育内容丰富，注重让孩子在体力、认知、语言、社会性、情感上获得和谐发展，可称之为“素质教育”。在促进体力的增强上，重视开展幼儿户外活动、体育锻炼，如在庭院里荡秋千，野外远足等。在《摩登家庭》中，家长经常带孩子骑自行，打球进行户外锻炼，培养肢体运动能力；在出现分歧时，家长可以用自身的经历为孩子提供意见，而不是干涉他们自主选择的权利，Jay的女儿Clair对她十几岁的孩子Alex的学习没有中国家长那么紧张，当Alex拼命迎考争取第一名时，反倒让Phil和Clair紧张了，他们担心孩子的身体出问题，一定要带孩子放松一下。
Bycontrast,Americanfamilyeducationisdiversifiedincontents,balancingtheirdevelopmentinphysicalpower,recognition,language,socialabilityandemotions.Itisbilledaseducationforall-arounddevelopment.Americanparentsfocusonoutdooractivitiesandphysicalexercise,includingswingandhikesinnature.InModernFamily,parentsoftentaketheirchildrenforoutdoorexercises,suchasbicyclingandplayingbasketballandfootballinordertotraintheirbodymovements.Whendisagreementsarise,parentswillnotinterfereintheirrightstofreechoice,instead,theywillprovideadvicetotheirchildrenwiththeirownexperiences.WhenAlexstudieshardandscorednumberoneinhisclass,hisparentsPhilandClairfeeluneasy,fortheyworryaboutAlex’shealthanddecidetotakehimoutsideforrelax.
3教育目的的差异
中国自古以来就非常重视家庭教育，父母都希望将孩子培养成才，大多都望子成龙、望女成凤，因此中国的家庭教育目的倾向于家庭本位。中国文化主要把人理解为类的存在物，重视人的社会性，会不自觉地将孩子的教育与家庭的发展联系起来。而所谓的现代教育更是倡导“不要让孩子输在起跑线上”，为达到这一目标，父母不惜包揽所有家务，送孩子去最好的学校，希望他们的学业成绩能名列前茅，为家长争面子，为家族争光。在《家有儿女》中，夏雪高考这天，刘梅和夏东海都早早地起床了，刘梅是因为习惯，而东海则是失眠睡不着。高考终于结束。夏雪充满自信，一家人都为之高兴。刘梅随后就病倒了，几个月来她积劳成疾。从
这些剧情可以看出一家人对小雪高考的期待，看出了整个家庭对高考的重视。父母的教育目的便是一心培养大学生。

Sinceancienttimes,chinahasplacedmuchimportanceonfamilyeducation.Parentshopethattheirchildrencanbepillarsinsociety.Assuch,Chinesefamilyeducationisfamily-active.IntraditionalChineseculture,manisunderstoodastheexistenceofgroupandsocialityisvalued.Therefore,childreneducationwillbelinkedwithfamilydevelopment.Andthesocalledmoderneducationadvocatesthatneverallowchildrenloseatthebeginning.Parentsarereadytotakeallthehouseworkfortheirchildrenwhoaresenttothefirst-classschools.Becausetheyhopetheirchildrencanrankfirstinstudyperformance.InHomewithKidsthesearereflectedinthefollowingplot:onthedaythatXiaxuetakesthenationalcollegeentranceexamination,bothLiumeiandXiadonghaigetupearlier,liuisaccustomedtogettingupaheadoftime,whileXiaisinsomniacbecauseheisworriedfortheexamination.Xiaxuefeelsconfidentaftertheexams;thewholefamilyiscoveredbyhappiness.Unfortunately,XiaxuefailstoenterTsinghuaUniversity.Liuissickformonthsofconstantwork.Fromthisplotitisobviousthatthewholefamilyattachmuchimportancetothecollegeentranceexamination.Parentshopetheirchildrencanenterfamousuniversity.
美国人讲个性，价值观是以个人为本的个体主义，注重个人利益，崇尚个人发展实现自我，这是美国文化核心。美国家庭教育的目的，是要把孩子培养成具有适应各种环境和独立生存能力的“社会人”.在设定家庭教育的目标时，家长会尊重孩子的意愿。
在《摩登家庭》第一季中，Phil的二女儿

”无疑是对美国家庭教育目的最佳诠释。

三、中美家庭教育观差异的原因
（1）历史背景的差异。
美国是一个历史比较短的移民国家，旧有的思想文化保留得很少，能够较快地接受新的思想和文化，因此，他们更多的具有冒险和创新精神。而中国历史文化
悠久，同时所受旧有的约束也较多，缺少冒险精神和创造意识，因此，缺少一种接受新思想的环境。
（2）经济形态的差异。
美国生产力先进，商品经济发达，就业机会多，生存压力小，而且美国是个“能力社会”，劳动力流通自由，跳槽机会多，所以美国人择业观开放。美国父母认为孩子将来只要能在社会上立足生存，职业是不分尊卑的。因此，美国父母的教育目的重在育“人”，更为宏观、宽泛，以不变应万变。而中国经济相对落后，生存压力大，是个“学历社会”，行业流动性差，所以中国人往往把一生的幸福都压在某种职业上，选择面窄。中国父母认为学业成绩好，找到好工作，求得一生安稳，是一个人最好的出路。因此，中国父母的教育目的重在成“才”，“才”就是学业成绩优秀，能考上好学校，能获得高学历。
四、对我国家庭教育的启示
一个民族的传统文化决定了家庭教育的广度与深度，通过以上的对比，我们不难看出中美家庭教育的特点。
我们必须客观的面对中国家庭教育的理念与方式。
首先，我们的家庭教育保留对传统的文化道德理念倡导的同时，必须学会尊重孩子，给予其一定的空间，重视其独立性的培养，培养孩子具有独立处理问题的能力，独立的选择能力，判断能力，审美能力等等；多给予鼓励和肯定，加强与孩子在情感上的沟通与交流。
充分发掘和培养孩子的兴趣爱好。
其次，优化教育内容，注重孩子的各方面综合素质的提高，对孩子进行兴趣量表分析，鼓励孩子选择兴趣，引导孩子为自己的兴趣负责。
最后，在反思中西家庭教育差异的同时也要将这种理性对比分析的态度传承给我们的孩子，在价值观不断趋同的现代社会，帮助他们坚守自己的道德价值体系非常有必要，取长补短，以期更好地促进我国家庭教育观的发展和两国社会文化交流。

《小欢喜》是一部由北京壹心壹品文化传媒有限公司、浙江京视文化传播有限公司联合出品、北京东方飞云国际影视股份有限公司联合出品的当代家庭情感剧。该剧由黄磊执导，以三个典型的中国式高考家庭为背景，讲述了在高三这一年发生的事情。 该剧由黄磊、海清、陶虹共同出演。陶虹饰演学霸妈妈童文洁，海清饰演女儿宋倩，黄磊则出演三个来自不同家庭的高考考生宋倩、乔卫东和林磊儿。 《摩登家庭》是一部中国都市情感剧。该剧由孙俪出演女主人美心善母亲，郭京飞饰演男主子健以及一众好朋友。该剧以四个普通但温暖的中产阶级家庭为背景设置剧情，讲述了三对夫妻在教育孩子方面所遇到的问题以及处理方法。 本文将以剧中人物为例研究中国家庭教育观念与美国社会教育观念之间的差异及原因。 一、《小欢喜》与《摩登家庭》中的家庭教育观念 中国传统的家庭教育观念是由儒家思想和法家思想构成，儒家教育强调“学而优则仕”，家长必须将自身置于“官本位”的位置上。 儒家思想中对于如何教育孩子的方式主要有两种：第一种是通过向孩子灌输“德、智、体”来实现教化，即通过让孩子学习做人道德准则来使其成为对社会有用之人。 第二种是通过家长言传身教的方式来使其养成良好的品德和行为习惯，即通过对其进行行为规范教育，使他成为一个品行端正的人。 中国传统家庭教育中的亲子关系一直占据主导地位，尤其是在现代社会，孩子与父母的矛盾日益激化，家庭生活和工作压力不断加大，许多人都把工作当做生活的全部。 中国的家庭教育中父母对孩子有着绝对主权、绝对权威和绝对服从，家长的教育方法通常会被认为是正确的。因此父母经常会用命令、批评、惩罚和控制等方式来教育孩子，以达到“严师出高徒”之效。 但是《小欢喜》中三个家庭在教育孩子方面并没有那么严格，孩子们也不愿意去学习。这是因为他们觉得父母过于严格了。 《小欢喜》通过讲述三个家庭在教育孩子方面出现的问题及矛盾冲突告诉我们家庭教育也需要根据实际情况做出改变与调整。 父母要树立正确的教育观念并且在日常生活中身体力行才能让孩子们更好地接受教育。 家庭教育有宏观、中观和微观之分。 微观家庭教育即我们所说的传统的家庭教育，是指在家庭生活中，家长也就是家庭中的中年长者其中心为父母亲，对其子女以及其他年少者所实施的教育和影响。 家庭教育有不同的阶段，从生包括胎教到老，本文主要涉及是在青少年以及之前这个阶段的家庭教育。 中国的家庭教育有很多好的方面，我们培养的孩子有非常强烈的民族荣誉感、集体意识、吃苦耐劳的精神等，但我们的家庭教育也有不尽如人意的地方。 美国的家庭教育有很多值得我们学习和借鉴的地方，但美国的家庭教育也存在很多负面的问题。 中美家庭教育差异是多方面的，无论是教育目的、教育任务和内容，还是教育观念和教育方法，既有宏观层面，也有微观层面，本人认为中美家庭教育最大差异是中国以应试教育为背景的人才教育，而美国是以素质教育为背景的人的教育。 目前中国的就业压力很大，社会对人的需求层次越来越高，孩子进入社会以后，要想有一份体面的工作和较高的社会地位，甚至要出人头地，就必须从小好好读书，长大争取考入好的大学，以及继续深造。 在目前应试教育的背景下，中考和高考已成为衡量孩子是否获得最初成功的唯一尺度。 现在家长的观念都很实际，家庭教育目的也很直白，趋利性很强。 这个利就是培养孩子能考上名牌大学，毕业能够找到一份理想的工作。 所以现在的父母是按照考试需要、就业需求和自身价值取向来培养孩子，学校考什么，孩子学什么；社会什么专业热门、好就业，家长就选择让孩子学什么，根本不考虑孩子自身的特长、接受能力、兴趣和爱好。 当前很多重点大学自主招生考试考才艺，包括乐器、美术、舞蹈、讲演、主持、围棋、国际象棋等方面，家长为了孩子能够提高进入重点大学的成功率，拼命要求孩子从小学习相关的才艺。 北京市小升初择优入校奥数属于必考科目，家长为了使孩子能进入好的初中，也纷纷把孩子往奥数班里塞，完全不考虑孩子的接受能力或喜好。 每年高考以后，家长帮助孩子选择志愿成为分内的重要工作。 以前经济类、计算机等专业热门，家长让孩子主选经济类、计算机等专业；近年来土木工程等专业热门，家长又帮孩子主选土木工程等专业。 我女儿小时候也学过钢琴、美术、舞蹈等很多才艺，因为并不擅长或喜欢，最终都半途而废了。 112美国家庭教育的随机性美国的家庭教育是自由成长教育，随机性很强。 家庭教育注重的是望子成人。 这个人是社会的人，是父母量体裁衣，根据孩子的兴趣、特长、能力，与孩子一道设计的平凡的人。 近年来，受全球经济危机影响，美国的就业压力也是蛮大的，但就业的途径是多渠道的。 美国的大学也看重大学入学考试成绩，但不是录取学生的唯一标准。 所以美国的家庭教育跟大学入学考试、就业是没有必然联系的，它更注重如何把自己的孩子培养成现实生活的成功者、获胜者，而不 是一个虚幻的天才。 家长并不是靠说教，抽象地教孩子自信、自爱和自强，而是体现对孩子的尊重。 美国人碰了面，遇到家长带孩子时，一般是与孩子先打招呼，而且是用跟大人交流的语气和方式。 大人不但要认真倾听孩子讲话，还常常蹲下来同孩子对话，使孩子感受到他们之间的平等关系。 家长时常当众表扬和鼓励孩子，他们认为，孩子在享受成功的喜悦时会增强进取心，取得更大的成功。 西方教育和心理卫生专家普遍认为，对待挫折的良好心态是童年时不断受挫折和解决困难中学来的。 家长为了提高孩子对挫折的心理承受能力，鼓励孩子参加棒球赛、小铁人三项赛，激发孩子与强者抗衡的勇气和信心。 尽管家长知道自己的孩子拿不到名次，但他们认为，培养孩子自 强不息的意识和超越自我的精神最重要，锻炼孩子在困境和挫折面前不低头的坚强意志和性格是最重要的。 13观念不同中美家庭教育在观念上有比较明显的差异，具体体现在131在父母与孩子的关系上1311中国家庭教育强调孩子与父母是附属关系中国家庭讲究父为子纲，强调子女应对父母尽孝，父亲在家中绝对权威，子女必须绝对服从。 家长认为孩子是自己的附属品，可以左右孩子的一切，忽视孩子的想法，导致了孩子没有主见。 有的年轻人上大学选学校、选专业甚至找对象都听任父母的安排，自己的事几乎没自己做过决定。 1312美国家庭教育强调孩子与父母是平等关系美国人认为人与人之间平等和尊重是天赋人权，因此父母与孩子保持平等关系，他们尊重孩子的生理、心理感受，尊重孩子的想法和发言权。 美剧《摩登家庭》里11岁的告诉家长自己爱上了16岁的同校女同学，并希望父母带他去女孩打工的地方向她表白，父母就非常正式地带他去。 尽管的表白遭到了女孩的拒绝，这种平等的亲子关系却在孩子的头脑中建立了强烈的民主意识。 132在对生命的认识上1321中国家庭教育强调安全在中国，人们认为生命很脆弱，为了不让其受到伤害，考虑到安全因素，家长往往限制了孩子的许多活动，对孩子过度保护，比如，因为怕出危险而阻止孩子参加夏令营；禁止孩子去同学家里聚会等，甚至对于有可能 导致受伤的游泳、爬山等体育运动也极力反对孩子参加，导致了孩子经不起任何风雨，能力发展严重受到了局限。 1322美国家庭教育强调挑战在美国，人们认为生命的可贵在于时间、地域的有限，因而生命体验要多多益善，要让其过程丰富而充实，向诸多极限挑战。 133在对自己的认识上1331中国家庭教育强调正视短处中国的家庭教育过分强调孩子要正视自己的短处，长处需要别人来说。 谁要说自己好，小则是自吹、不谦虚；大则是狂妄无知、目中无人，算是品德有问题。 短处说多了，尤其是当众批评孩子，孩子容易自卑，自信心不足。 1332美国家庭教育强调正视长处美国的家庭教育强调孩子要正视自己的长处。 家长总是先表扬、先肯定孩子，以鼓励赏识为主。 如果一定要说缺点的话，采用了很多技巧。 人一想到自己，首先想到自己的长处，因此，培养的孩子自信心强。 14方法不同中美家庭教育在教育培养方法上存在很大差异，主要表现在141创造力培养1411中国家庭教育轻创造力培养中国的家长比较轻视孩子的自主行为。 孩子有点什么好奇心，家长往往置之不理；孩子要是做点什么不合常规的事，家长动辄教训、严厉处置。 因此，孩子的个性、好奇心受到了抑制，根本不敢尝试具有挑战 性的事，孩子的创造力被扼杀在萌芽之中。 这一点本人深有感触，小时候家里条件不好，曾经因为把姐姐玩过的玩具收音机给拆了，遭到家长痛斥，原因是没能把完好无损的玩具留给在我后面出生的妹妹，拆玩具被认为是很败家的行为。 中国的家庭教育十分注重基础学科理论教育，特别是那种有标准答案的以解决学科习题为重点的答题式教育，压抑了孩子的探索精神。 在国际奥林匹克竞赛上，我们的选手总能取得骄人的成绩，但在一些创新性大赛上，我们的选手表现的就不尽如人意。 2000年在美国举办了发明科技大赛，吸引了全球1200多名中学生参赛，在900多项奖项中，中国代表队仅获6项奖，非常发人深省。 如果是考试我们孩子肯定是没有问题，但是，在创造能力、动手能力、综合运用知识的能力考查面前，我们的孩子显得苍白无力。 1412美国家庭教育重创造力培养美国的家庭教育重视孩子的自主行为。 家长总能创造条件为孩子提供一个安全、相对自由的环境，让孩子去实践和探索。 父母非常注意倾听孩子的意见和心声，总是设法满足孩子的好奇心。 尊重孩子的个性发展，鼓励孩子自己动手解决问题，打破常规去创造。 如果还是遇到上述拆收音机的问题，如果重新又装上了家长肯定会表扬孩子；如果装不上，家长会鼓励孩子的好奇心和探索精神，一 起和孩子把它装上；甚至鼓励孩子再拆一次，自己再装一次。 家长这样做有利于培养孩子的探索精神和创新意识。 142独立意识培养1421中国家庭教育轻独立意识培养中国家长事无巨细,大包大揽，很多是按照自己的设计和设想来改造孩子，大到个人志向，小到吃饭穿衣，无不唯家长之意为尊。 中国家庭孩子从出生到4-5岁，有的甚至上小学之前一直跟父母住在一起，小时吃饭都是家长喂，基本上是衣来伸手，饭来张口。 到了初中，有的甚至高中，孩子也不能管理自己，独立性很差。 许多八零后的年轻人甚至成家以后还需要每天父母到家里来帮忙打扫、做家务。 1422美国家庭教育重独立意识培养美国的家长尊重孩子的独立意识，不按自己的设想改造孩子，从孩子的实际情况出发，为孩子提供一个良好的、宽松的生长环境，让孩子在自己的选择中长大。 孩子从出生开始就与父母分室而居，有时父母花钱顾人看孩子，两口子出去下馆子、看电影；孩子很小就自己吃饭、自己穿衣，尽管做得不好，父母也袖手旁观，让孩子自己管理自己；甚至孩子很小就有权支配自己的劳动所得，学会理财。 这种方法培养出的孩子很自信，独立性很强。 2中美家庭教育差异产生的历史背景和原因21社会历史原因家庭作为社会的细胞，是随着社会的发展变化而发展变化。 家庭教育作为家庭重要的功能，与这种发展变化紧密相连。 中国的家庭教育历史悠久、源远流长，早已成为社会文明传承与 发展的重要组成部分。 从原始社会到奴隶社会到封建社会到社会主义社会，家庭教育得到了继承和发展，而每种社会形态，其目的、特征也是不同的。 中国是从半封建、半殖民地的封建社会进入到社会主义社会，社会主义的基本经济制度是生产资料的公有制为主体，家庭及其成员是国家的一部分，家庭教育的目的是从国家出发，为国家培养合格的建设者，促进社会进步和国家富强。 美国自1776年建国，仅有200多年的历史，历史虽短，但目前是全世界拥有最先进的科学技术、最雄厚的物质力量的最发达的资本主义国家。 资本主义社会的基本经济制度是生产资料的私有制，家庭教育目的是从个人实际需要出发，从追求家庭根本利益出发，为家庭培养成功者和获胜者。 中国和美国的社会制度不同，历史形成的原因不同，造成了中美家庭教育的目的以及任务和内容的差异。 22文化原因中国是一个拥有56个民族的文明古国，在人类历史发展的长河中形成了璀璨夺目的中国传统文化。 从文化的源头上讲，钱穆先生认为文化有三种类型游牧文化、农耕文化和商业文化。 中国传统文化是典型的农耕文化。 它的特点一是强大的生命力；二是伦理政治型文化；三是以儒、道文化为主体，其他文化为补充的多元文化结构；四是重人文轻科学 的文化倾向；五是以家族为本位的宗法集体主义文化，义利关系是文化价值体系的核心。 农耕经济和家族本位这两条主线贯穿了中国文化的发展历史,是中国文化的两个根，是中国传统文化得以传承的外在和内在因素。 一般认为，真正的美国文化是从十九世纪末特纳的边疆学说开始的,美国的西进运动，创造了美国特有的梦文化。 从文化的源头上讲，是希腊文明，清教主义、自由主义和个人主义构成了美国文化的三大要素。 美国的文化是典型的商业文化。 它的特点一是宗教文化与世俗文化的结合；二是本土文化与外来文化的融合；三是主流文化与边缘文化的磨合；四是传统文化与现代文化的汇合；五是阶级文化与种族文化的组合；六是精英文化与大众文化的弥合；七是外交文化与内政文化的配合；八是个人主义文化与民族文化的联合；九是熔炉文化与多元文化的整合。 在美国200多年的发展过程中，清教主义成为美国文化的根，个人主义成为美国文化的魂，自由主义成为美国人的一种生活方式。 综上，从中美两国文化的类型、源头、特点和根基等分析，中美文化都有强大的生命力，都具有兼收并蓄的包容性格，但中国文化强调家族本位，家长就是一家之长，君权就是家长权的扩大，忠就是孝的延伸，而美国崇尚个人本位，强调个性自由和个人奋斗，个人主义价值观是美国发展成为世界最强国家最重要的原动力之一；中国文化重人文科学、轻科学文化，导致了中国自然科学长期落后，而美国文 化重科学文化、轻人文科学，造就了美国一跃成为首屈一指的世界强国。 由于中美两国文化的差异，致使中美家庭教育在教育观念、教育方法等诸多方面存在很多的不同。 23经济原因中国是一个发展中的大国，人口众多，近几年来，虽然国民经济得到了快速发展，但还很不平衡，经济实力、科技发展水平、人均收入等诸多方面与美国比，还有非常大的差距。 就家庭教育而言，中国的城市好于农村，而对一些低收入家庭特别是一些弱势群体家庭，家庭教育面临了很大的问题。 有些家庭由于家庭环境、家庭条件等问题，家庭教育根本上不可能按照理想化的教育模式和形态进行，甚至有些家庭教育不可能达到完整和全面。 3中美家庭教育差异对人才培养的影响通过上述的分析和探讨，我们看到正是由于中美家庭教育差异存在，造成了中美两国培养人才的结果有很大不同。 为什么美国有那么多大师级的人物，那么多人获得了诺贝尔奖，这其中的原因是不言而喻的。 尽管中国家庭教育有很多值得肯定的地方，但与美国的家庭教育相比仍然存在着诸多不足之处，而正是这些不足直接导致了我们培养的人才在很多方面是有欠缺的，或者说是致命性的问题，具体表现在31缺乏创造力哈佛商学院特里萨爱玫呗教授认为，创造力有三个组成部分专业性、创造性思维技能和动机。 中国家庭教育培养的孩子知识面窄，比较关注考试科目的学习，其它非考学科不感兴趣，忽视艺术、审美等知识的获得。 柏拉图的弟子亚里士多德有句名言吾爱吾师，吾更爱真理。 中国的家庭教育培养出的孩子习惯被动地接受别人的观点，不敢质疑权威，没有探索精神，缺乏挑战意识，不能突破传统的束缚，无法摆脱线性、平面的思维局限，从而有三维甚至多维的想象，也就不可能具有创新性思维。 现在的家庭教育比较功利，培养的人没有全心全意投入到科学事业，使命感差。 32缺少自信心中国的孩子总感到缺点什么？缺的其实就是自信心。 自信心欠缺，最终归结到我们的孩子综合能力欠缺。 现在的孩子成长历程基本上从家到学校，只注重书本知识的获得，社会实践很少，社会阅历欠缺，社会经验不足。 孩子长大走向社会以后，由于学校本身与社会脱节，造成孩子适应生活的能力差，到了工作单位没有几年的实践培养，无法适应单位工作。 33独立意识欠缺中国的孩子从小就依赖于父母，除了学习以外，其它事基本都是家长包办。 长大成人以后，没有主见，大事小事也不得不请示父母，希望家长给出意见。 有的孩子结婚以后还跟父母一起过，生活自理能力差。 由于家庭教育的结果，造成了中国的孩子立事太晚，独立意识太差，导致了我们很多孩子大学或研究生毕业以后，到了用人单位没有几年时间胜任不了单位的工作，更不要说单打独斗承担一些重要的工作。 34动手能力差中国家庭教育这种重应试的结果造成了我们很多的孩子大学毕业以后，动手能力和实践能力都很差，简直就是高分低能。 前面提到的历史学博士教不好初中历史课，最后被用人单位辞退是一个非常好的例子。 我认识的一位理工男，在大学学习成绩非常突出，但组成家庭以后连简单的换灯泡都不会，这样的例子不胜枚举。 35心理承受能力弱我们的家庭教育培养出的人心理承受能力太差，抗挑战、抗挫折的能力弱。 因为考试没考好得病、自杀的案例时有发生。 上世纪80年代初，被渲染的中国科大少年班的天才神童宁铂，长大后一直无法面对生活和社会的压力，最终在2002年选择了出家的道路。 4结语人才培养是一个系统工程。
